| Mold
is fungi - tiny particles whose purpose is
to break
down decaying,
rotting or dead materials. Some molds have no
affect on humans or animals, others are allergenic
in nature and a few are toxic. Toxic mold produces
mycotoxins which may be harmful to health.
Potentially toxic molds include Aspergillius,
Penicillium & Stachybotrys.
Mold grows in places where there has been leakage,
flooding or moisture intrusion. |
